Portable Synthetic Ice Curling Lane
Are you looking for that winter game that can be played all year? Check out our portable synthetic ice curling lanes. Great for corporate events, birthdays, winter themed events or wedding celebrations. GO Event Hire has a number of curling lane options. Our curling lanes are able to be used all year round indoors or outdoors on any flat surface, regardless of the weather you will always get the same performance from our synthetic portable curling lanes. Two teams of up to 4 people per team take on the challenge to see who can throw their stones the closest the centre of the circle. All of our synthetic curling lanes use synthetic ice tiles rather than the blow up versions commonly available to hire. We can run one lane or both lanes at your event. Our lanes come with event staff to run and look after the activity.
Keep an eye out as we will be adding a traditional curling lane to our offerings in the future.
Bavarian Synthetic Ice Curling
We have two portable Bavarian curling lanes for hire. Bavarian curling is a similar game to the curling you might watch on the winter Olympics, however the stones have longer handles and do not curl in the way the traditional curling stones do. The Bavarian stones are easier to throw down the ice for a wider range of people. They are both 10 x 2 metres in size each. We use artificial synthetic tiles that can be walked on, unlike the blow up versions that can also be hired.
Minimum area required for one lane: 11 x 3 metres
Minimum area required for two lanes: 11 x 5 metres
Set up: 2 Hours. We require direct access to the area where our synthetic curling lane is being set up.
